Curriculum

Cost of Program

Two Components. One Program.
Potomac School of Leadership is designed as a fully integrated leadership and degree program. As a result, students invest in two separate but connected components of their experience: the Potomac School of Leadership program and enrollment in Ascent College. Together, these components provide leadership development, spiritual formation, ministry experience, helpful networking and an accredited college education.

These two components are billed separately.

Potomac School of Leadership Program Fee

Per PSL Year
This fixed annual fee covers the leadership development and residential experience, including:
• Housing
•  Utilities
•  Leadership training and development
• Mentorship and discipleship opportunities
• Ministry experience and practical training
• PSL events, travel, and experiences
• Church internship and networking opportunities
• PSL merchandise and resources
• Additional program related experiences and resources

Ascent College Tuition

Varies Based on Course Load

All PSL students are simultaneously enrolled in Ascent College and work toward an Associate of Science in Ministry Leadership degree (students can choose to further their education after PSL graduation).

Ascent College tuition is charged separately and is based on the number of credits taken during each academic session. Students may choose different course loads, though a full time schedule is recommended for those seeking to complete their degree on a traditional timeline.

Because tuition is determined by credits taken, each student's total college cost may vary each semester.

Payment Plans Available

Potomac School of Leadership offers payment plan options to help students manage the cost of the program. Students must establish an approved payment plan before the start of the program and remain current on all scheduled payments throughout the academic year. Our team will work with students to coordinate financial aid, scholarships, and other funding sources as applicable.

Students with outstanding balances may be restricted from registering for future terms until their account is brought current.

Financial Aid

Most PSL students qualify for federal financial aid and we strongly encourage them to apply through FAFSA to determine eligibility as soon as they begin the application process.
Students may also:
• Apply for federal financial aid through FAFSA
•  Seek support from their local church
•  Pursue scholarships and outside funding opportunities
